Te Arai Links Clubhouse Roof. True Oak Deep & Trimrib Webglass. Te Arai
Some images c/o Te Arai Links and Studio John Irving Architects. A glimpse of the Te Arai Links Clubhouse at this premiere world class golf destination located just north of Auckland.
If you want to gain a greater understanding of the transformation that owner Ric Kayne's team have made to the landscape along the beach south of Forestry then have a look at the video on this page or follow this link to Te Arai Links. It also shows the Clubhouse when the roofs had just gone on.
Working for Dawson Construction, Swift Roofing installed the Trimrib Webglass to the entrance area roof that divides the two sides of the Clubhouse. True Oak Deep was installed to the roof areas on each side of the Clubhouse entrance. Aesthetically pleasing, functional and providing many design benefits, True Oak Deep is exclusive to Roofing Industries and as an extremely difficult product to roll-form, required the very latest in advanced manufacturing technology. Looks incredible in this setting.
This roof was completed in COLORSTEEL colour TidalDrift® Matte in the Maxx® coating. COLORSTEEL Maxx® is designed to provide protection against corrosion in areas where severe to very severe environmental conditions are experienced. Specifically developed to withstand higher atmospheric salt concentrations (like a world class golf course on the edge of the Pacific Ocean ;).
True Oak Deep and Trimrib Webglass sheets and more supplied by Roofing Industries, with all the required flashing related from Roofing Accessories.
Quote re the Clubhouse from Studio John Irving Architects:
"This is the meeting and greeting point for all visitors to the courses, The clubhouse is a welcoming form with new guests guided into a large sheltered portico, as well as the greeting area the Clubhouse contains the proshop and generous changing facilities. The form is a simply detailed gable with deep covered eaves, the arrival area cuts through the gable with easy access to the practice fairway behind."
People are traveling from all over the world to play this course, so maybe head to the booking page before popping by for a round.
