Takapuna Rugby Football Club
Swift Roofing proudly supports Takapuna R.F.C.
Formed in 1934 and won the prestigious Gallaher Shield in 1940.
In the early 70's the club moved to Onewa Domain. Takapuna again took the Gallaher Shield in 1980.
North Harbour RFU began its early history at Onewa Domain as Takapuna started to dominate the senior grade at all levels. Takapuna R.F.C’s success since 1994 has been extremely high winning 12 North Harbour Premier Championships over this period.
Takapuna has produced 8 All Blacks and has had many representatives over all forms of the game and at all levels and is the most successful Premier club in the North Harbour Union, winning 12 out of 23 titles.
Mike / Swift Roofing has been a long time supporter of Takapuna R.F.C. As a former player for Takapuna Mike later took on coaching of the Colts and Senior 7’s for a number of years with both teams having great success.
